Rome (Latin: Rōma) is the capital of Italy and a special comune (named Comune di Roma Capitale). Rome also serves as the capital of the Lazio region. With 2,876,051 residents in 1,285 km2 (496.1 sq mi),[1] it is also the country's most populated comune.
Budapest (Hungarian Budapest) - the capital of Hungary and the country's main political, industrial, commercial and transportation center. There are currently over 1.7 million people, which is the result of a decline in the 80s (2.07 million). In 1873, Budapest became one of the city's towns on the left bank of the Bay of the Bypass, the right bank of Budada (Germany) and Oudau (Old Buda or Altai-Offen). It is located on both banks of Danube. It is the sixth largest in the EU.
