Abastumani  is  notable  for  climatic  spa  and  moderately  dry  mountainous  climate.  Thermal  waters  and  pure  air  that  makes  it  attractive  both  for  internal  and  external  tourists. 

Old,  mysterious  and  catchy  Vardzia  Complex,  currently  a  monastery,  is  once  a  cultural  and  educational  spiritual  center  of  Georgia  in  medieval  ages.

ITINERARIES

Day  1:  Tbilisi

Meet  in  an  airport  and  transfer  to  a  hotel  in  Tbilisi,  after  rest  a  short  sightseeing  tour  in  the  city.  Overnight  in  Tbilisi.

Day  2:  Tbilisi - Borjomi  Gorge - Akhaltsikhe - Abastumani

Visit  at  Green  Monastery,  Fortress  Rabat  and  museum  in  Akhaltsikhe.  Visit  at  atmophysical  observatory  in  Abastumani  and  in  case  of  good  weather  observation  of  planets.  Overnight  in  Abastumani.

Day  3:  Vardzia - “Paravani”  Lake,  Foka  Monasteri – Tbilisi

After  breakfast  departure  to  Vardzia  cave  city.  The  next  is  Javakheti,  on  the  way  rest  beside  the  lake  “Paravani”,  visit  at  Foka  Nunnery  (here  one  may  buy  various  types  of  cheese  and  chocolate  made  by  the  nuns  of   nunnery).  Return  and  overnight  in  Tbilisi

Day  4: Transfer  to  airport
